Last weekend, Vizulate Directors Mick and Ryan completed The Great Yorkshire Bike Ride, an annual 72 mile sponsored charity cycle ride from Wetherby to Filey.
The ride takes in some of Yorkshire’s best countryside through the Howardian Hills and the Yorkshire Wolds to the coast.
While the charity ride itself raises money for a number of charities each year, Mick and Ryan were part of a group of 9 riders including Vizulate client Tony Ruddiman of The Flood Company, in completing the ride to raise awareness for Maggie’s Centres.
Maggie’s offers free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer, and their families and friends.
The charity provided an immense amount of support to Tony, his family, and friends during his son Luke’s 9 month battle against an aggressive form of testicular cancer.
Sadly, Luke passed away in December last year but his family and friends have raised over £20,000 for the charity in Luke’s memory in various events over the last 6 months.
If anyone would be kind enough to donate, show your support and help, we, Luke’s Family, and Maggie’s would be truly grateful.
